The events that take place on yachts are ideal for Teambuilding goals yet can be as well a great solution for a more oriented leisure/tour program.Check below the pre-formatted options that we have to offer.
Mini-Event
A solution with a moderate cost for a different day for your team. On board of sportive cruising sailing boats it will be possible to feel the thrill of sailing and maneuver a yacht as a team.
Valid for a maximum of 11 people simultaneously;
Valid for 2 workdays, 2,5 hours sailing;
Up to 3 cruising sailing boats from 7,5to 10m: 2 keelboats G7.25 and 1 yacht Bavaria 32 cruiser;
Includes sailing boats with insurance and license to operate touristic activities;
Includes Skipper and Fuel;
Boarding and disembarking in Oeiras.

The event can take place at any Lisbon Harbor, although we advise Oeiras for its quality/price ratio. It’s still possible disembark at a different harbor from the one where the boarding was done (Expo, Cascais or Belém) for lunch and continuation of the program.

A full day sailing it’s a ideal option for incentives, client entertainment or every time the program is more ambitious in terms of hours engaged in.This program can be set up for a full day navigating with no stops or be divided in morning and afternoon with a break between. In this option it’s possible to lunch or make a break on another harbor or even lunch at anchor, for example in Cascais.
It can be organized two long regattas or team exercises on board, that promotes interaction moments between the group.
Coaching&Sailing
Coaching & Sailing Challenge it’s an unforgettable experience that combines Coaching with Sailing, enhancing the individual initiative, leadership, motivation, focus, team playing, communication capability and efficiency of your team!
Like on a highly competitive market, also the crew of a yacht has to adapt continuously to the surrounding environment conditions and overcome all challenges that emerge. Individual responsibilities intersect with cooperation team needs, the decisions are taken accordingly the strategic goals and on both cases, the secret to achieve top performances and obtain excellent results depends on the potential of each team element.Dynamic and demanding environment, constant change, focus decisions, efficient actions, excellence performance... At the end of the day you team will be a better team!
The program is a result of the cooperation between the brilliant - Coaching & Excellence and West Coast. It envolves sessions on shore and at sea, with the appliance of concepts and simulations. The standard program is developed during a full day (in the morning on shore and in the afternoon at sea) but also can be customized to include several individual coaching sessions in the company before and/or after the outdoor activity.

Classic Sailing Boat
If your main goal is to keep the entire group together on a single vessel we suggest a bigger sailing vessel. For events with more than 25 people we suggest a classic sailing boat, with lots of charm and tradition, where your team can learn how to hoist sails, navigate and interact as one.
| On board it’s possible to include catering, bar and even a sailing workshop to stimulate team work and the participation of everybody. On the “Sailing Workshop” participants will be distributed by teams with different roles (hoisting sails, steering, knots, navigation, communications). After everyone has taken all the positions it’s distributed a questionnaire to assess learning. Only one group can win! |
It’s also possible to organize other activities on board from wine tasting, thematic events, parties and receptions or even corp presentations on a different and motivating environment.
At your disposal there is a saloon with about 54 seated places and with all the conditions to install audiovisual media for your presentation on board.

>A great way to keep your team motivated for a long period without g+having to inter the functioning of your business or department. The activity briefing is given in the company itself and each team trains alternately with a skipper at the Friday afternoon. By the end of this training period it’s is organized a regatta where everyone competes!
If your objective is a program with a lasting impact and doesn’t require closing a department or stop a team for a day, then this is the ideal solution.
Casual Friday takes advantage of the late afternoon for training and teambuilding activities for teams with more than 4 elements.
For example, you may provide an outdoor activity of team work to a complete department with 45 people on 5 Fridays at the afternoon (5 sailing outings with 9 participants). Each Friday a different team of 9 elements may interact on board, comparing then their experiences. We assure a theoretical briefing to the group at the company facilities and the possibility of getting together all the group later for a regatta - putting into practice the learning and team work of each crew.
If the main goal is to improve the communication inter-departmental the same program can be done to include mixed teams which change every week, with each collaborator boarding more than one time on different teams.
