It is an internationally recognized document that certifies theoretical knowledge and practical and phisical for run a recreational vessel in coastal waters.
Schools certified by the Royal Yachting Association have the ability to take direct exams to obtain this certificate, without having to take a full course again. Exams for obtaining CHF are conducted in English.
Depending on the type of certificate you need, the exam can take between 1 and 3 days. After passing the exam, the ICC is valid for 5 years.
ICC certificates will be automatically accepted by countries that have adopted Resolution 40.
