This course (Level 1) and RYA Basic Skills (Level 2) distinguish themselves from the rest of the RYA courses because they’re “non-residential” (runs from 09h30am to 06h00pm) but still are taught in cruising yachts with at least 10m. They’re an excellent choice for those who are initiating in cruising sailing and are looking for a first experience on board.
