O The Learn to Sail Program is intended for everyone who wants to try sailing for the first time but is seeking to learn already some basic sailing navigation concepts participating actively in the handling of the boat and the maneuvers of sailing navigation.
This is a similar program to the "Go Sailing", however it has more hours sailing (full day instead of half day). That’s why it’s ideal for someone who is seeking more experience with more navigation hours and learning.
You may still choose to do your experience in half-days instead of a full-day (splitting the experience for example in two weekends) or bring a friend and opt for two people doing the experience in half-day (2 people half-day instead of 1 people full-day).

Programe
The experience is quite similar to one of the first classes of the beginners course with a theoretical briefing followed by sailing navigation with the practice of some maneuvers.
Throughout the experience participants have a first contact with the basic terms of nautical nomenclature and get to know the different points of sailing: Close Reach, Beam Reach and Broad Reach, and, participate in all the maneuvers of the boat including tacking and gybing.
Participants can take part on a sailing lesson in progress, joining the remaining students learning sailing or, in alternative, join specific days dedicated to this program.
