Sailing baptisms are the ideal option for those who wish to feel the thrill of sailing on an amazing sailing boat.
For those who want to take a beginners course, it’s also an excellent way to try our boats, get to know our instructors team and have a first contact with sailing without great costs or commitment time.
Programe
The Sailing Baptism takes place around the starting harbor. Depending on wind and tide conditions, you may get out of the Tejo River passing the Bugio Lighthouse towards the sea or take the approach to the beautiful Lisbon.You’ll learn the basics of sailing navigation and participate in the handling of the boat. Main Sheet and Genoa Sheet, Bowline, Tacking, Heading Up or Gybing will longer be a mystery to you!
Participants may integrate a sailing class taking place, joining the remaining students or in alternative may integrate days and groups especially dedicated to Sailing Baptisms.
No previous experience required;
We use two types of vessels, coastal keelboats up to 7.5m with 4 participants and instructor on board or yachts of 10-12m with 7 participants and instructor on board.
